Meet Denise Matthews
Denise Matthews is the Founder of One Media & Events and has spent over three decades building, supporting, and connecting businesses in Gibraltar and beyond.
One Media & Events was established in 2016 as a natural evolution of her work across media, events, and communications, bringing together years of experience under a single, independent platform. Since then, OME has grown steadily, grounded in trust, consistency and long-term relationships.
Throughout her career, Denise has worked closely with founders, corporates, professional services firms and global brands, supporting the launch of businesses and initiatives that contribute meaningfully to the business ecosystem. Her work is rooted in understanding context, reputation and the importance of building things that add value.
Alongside OME, Denise is the long-standing Chapter Director of Startup Grind Gibraltar, part of the world’s largest independent startup community founded in Silicon Valley. She is also a presenter on GBC, including the Talking Business series, where she speaks with founders and business leaders about their experiences, challenges, and growth journeys.
Denise’s approach is hands-on, considered and collaborative. She brings people together with purpose and builds platforms that help organisations be seen and heard in the right spaces.
